Experiment Updates

The strawberry jar looks better every day. I don't remember the mint being such a slow grower. Maybe it prefers hot weather. It's been very cool this week. Excellent for working outside. I was also happy to see the first hyacinth bean seeds have sprouted and begun to climb the poles. So far everything seems off to a good start.

I love the way that nasturtium leaves seem to float. I think I will plant some this year.

Great idea to plant nasturtiums in a strawberry pot. Watch out for aphids though they seem to love nasturtiums. Despite two years of pulling up and digging out our spearmint it came up again this year. Good grief, what does it take to get rid of the stuff. But like yours they seem to be stunted this year so maybe I can get the upper hand this year.

So cute! I've also heard that hens and chicks do very well in strawberry pots, and they are perennial.
