Asters blooming in July! Asters blooming in 90 F (32C) heat! There is ice in the Underworld. The end is near.

My asters have started blooming up here in Morris County, as well! I'm not quite sure what to do with them - pinch off the blooms so they'll rebloom at the proper time? Leave them alone? What do you think?

Leah, I'm not sure what to do. This is brand new territory for me so I am leaving them alone to see what happens.

My asters began to bloom on July 9 last year. The main flush didn't appear until the usual fall timing.
