Green Thumb Sunday
Yesterday, “A” and I saw this little building at Well Sweep Herb Farm. We knew it couldn’t be a toolshed because people were going in and out of it. We kept saying “It can’t be, it can’t be”. We just had to peek inside:
Yup! It’s a “necessary”. A two seater, no less.
I told “A” I should call this post Brown Thumb Sunday. She said “Ewwwww!” What do you say?

I'd say that's the nicest looking outhouse I've ever seen.
I second kathy. Haven't just had a one-seater and Sears Roebuck catalogue for toilet paper when we were growing up in the rural South I'd say that is without doubt the best looking outhouse I've ever seen. The only thing missing is the crescent moon on the door !
That is a pretty cool-looking outhouse ... the ones that I have seen lately look rundown! It makes me feel nostalgic for the olden days.
Carolyn Gail, the crescent moon is on the side above the window. That's why I took the picture from that angle. To show the crescent moon and give a hint as to what the structure is.
Well, I'll be. I didn't know they made these any more. I've sat in a few of those in my life, albeit none as nice as this one! Happy GTS, or BTS, whichever suits.

Well what can you say. The building is pretty to look at and useful I suppose! Some people just think of everything! Sara from farmingfriends
A great looking outhouse! But what's up with this 2 seater thingy? ;-)
Brown Thumb Sunday? LOL!
Yolanda Elizabet, we saw parents and their children using it at the same time. Much more roomy than the tiny stalls in most public restrooms!
Pretty impressive and something all gardens should have!
Enjoyed all the pictures from Well Sweep Herb Farm. Definitely have to get up there in the spring. It appears that they have expanded their gardens too! I am sorry I missed the trip... but duty (and deadheading) called me!
The Head Hatter
With airwicks, picture, carpeting and a sign for men - "Men, please raise the seat" no less. Can't figure out the two seats tho. ;)
Head Hatter, mark your calendar! Their Open House is the first Saturday in June.
Duh, they say the first thing to go is the eyesight. Couldn't see the crescent above the door until you pointed it out.
