Green Thumb Sunday

Join

My very first Green Thumb Sunday post almost a year ago was of the Seashell cosmos in my garden. This year they didn’t do well at all. Fortunately, I also planted them in my plot at Rutgers Gardens and they are doing superbly there. There are the classic pink Seashell cosmos (top photo), light pink ruffled flowers (middle photo) and dark pink ruffled flowers (bottom photo).

When viewed all together, they make quite a show.

Gardeners, Plant and Nature lovers can join in every Sunday, visit As the Garden Grows for more information.

I like the ruffled aspect of the first picture. Looks like heirmloom lingerie.

Thanks, Sara!

Verobirdie, Seashells cosmos are heirloom flowers from the late 1800's.
